Using swimlanes in workflowWorkflow swimlanes are assigned the domain-qualified ID of a principal (which can be either a user or a group). Customizing the Cloud CMS User InterfaceCloud CMS is incredibly powerful and feature rich. This is great except that in exposing all the powerful features the UI can easily appear cluttered and difficult to use. We recently added the ability to customize the UI to declutter, simplify, and make more familiar. Navigation The UI has been simplified to make navigation easier. The number of left-hand menu options has decreased because of the new “Manage Platform” and “Manage Project” sections. These two new sections have moved all of the a

How to monitor API traffic from a node js appIt is sometimes helpful to see the API traffic that is going on between the Gitana javascript driver and the Cloud CMS API server. This is a non-intrusive method of doing that. install a tool called Charles Proxy https://www.charlesproxy.com/ This is an excellent tool for monitoring http/https traffic. Once installed, start Charles Proxy and enable reverse proxy: Check "Enable Reverse Proxies" and then click the "Add" button. A port will be assigned (55703 in the example below). Set Remote Host

How do I search for nested content?Cloud CMS maintains two indexes that are of interest for finding things. The primary index is the MongoDB index - against which you can run any query you can dream up using the MongoDB DSL. The secondary index is the Elastic Search index - against which you can run any search you can dream up using the Elastic Search DSL. How to find the Repository ID for a Project? There are a few ways to get the repository ID for a project. The easiest way is: log in to your tenant go to your Project add "/stack" to the url The "/stack" suffix will show you the members of the stack. If you then click on "workbench 'content' repository", you'll see the ID for the repository in the URL. Another way is to click on a document in your project and then click on "View in API". The URL that comes up will have the repository ID in it as well.
