Hosting, security and billing
What security, platform and procurement teams ask before they approve Gitana Cloud.
- Regions
- Amazon Web Services in Virginia (US) or Frankfurt (EU), in ISO 27001-certified data centers. Any plan or guided evaluation can run in either region.
- Encryption
- Content is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and AWS KMS-managed keys on every plan, and in transit over TLS.
- Backups and your data
- Backups are continuous, encrypted and replicated across data centers. Project Export keeps your own copy of a project's content.
- Billing
- Plans are billed monthly. Annual terms, procurement paperwork and security questionnaires go through sales.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
We’ll contact you before throttling or suspending anything. Short-term spikes get grace headroom, so you won’t be cut off without warning. For sustained growth, we’ll recommend an upgrade.
Can I upgrade or downgrade mid-cycle?
Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Email sales@gitana.io to change plans.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export all content from your tenant at any time, through the API or the UI. On cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted, as set out in our privacy policy.
